Adam 🐜 🐜 anr music 🎶 🎵 👌
Having just watched Atkinson, Bashir and Smith all contribute massively in dismantling a rather average West Indies side in the three match series brought me back here. The lyrics are very apt, here's hoping our current generation of young Lions roar louder than ever 🦁 🏏
Let's hope so.
Sky Movies was about to show 'Scooby-Doo and the Reluctant Werewolf' but their Betacam machine failed to play and they went to a holding slide.
Ah, interesting stuff. Thanks.
The BBC1 chimes would've introduced Home at Six with Frank Bough and later Look North with Mike Neville.
This music show made by Associated-Rediffusion TV was released on VHS by Picture Music International, an imprint of EMI Records.
Opening song introducing the film is victorious by ennio morricone
Oh, thanks for letting me know. I didn't know that. Cheers.
@siddn I love filmnet songs. Trying to find them all. Got 3 others now as well lol
@@retrobiggy Yes,they are worth looking for. Providing you know the titles, that is.
Wiil→Will And Premier→Premiere
Yeah.
ain't you the guy that found the british/britian/uk opening/closing titles for top cat?
I don't know if I can take credit for that. I just posted it. Cheers.
oops...make that Grusin!
This is, without doubt the ALL TIME best TV theme tune ever written. A 7/4 (or 7/8) time signature, brilliant orchestration, flawlessly played, immediately recognisable, completely of it's time, yet timeless. Well done Mr Grudin!
Fantastic intro
Don’t you just love the costumes back then
Julian could have been cleverer with his norman Lamont line with a double entendre
The missed opt-out theme with the addition of the sax and guitar can be heard when an ITV region didn't do an opt-out was stretched far back to 1993 where the text says 'CONTINUES SHORTLY'. They continued to use this post-1996.
What!? TV-AM had Sky News!?
Oh, yes they did.
🤩 Entertaining show and groovy theme music. ☝️💋
George McCready was the original Glenn Howard
World of sport started my love of banger racing.
I don't remember the Sky logo being permanently on screen. I remember it would appear for a few seconds at the beginning of a programme.
Yes, in those days, from 1984 onwards, the logo was the all the time. IIRC Cheers.
My god! Did I put up a dish for this ?😅
Where are they now Paul and Amos.

The days of Yore! There's a Christmas channel on Sat TV, so it ain't so special nowadays.
So many of these - if not all of them - are actually the best moments in TV. Blue Peter was never better than when an elephant shat in the studio then dragged its keeper through it on his ass. THIS IS WHAT WE WANT!
おとぎ話劇場!

FAME IS THE NAME OF THE GAME
Love it i worked there in the 90s was crazy.
I recall that everytime Jumping Jack Flash was shown on tv ,they would dub over Whoopi swearing with an actress that clearly sounded nothing like her
This theme is one of the best of classic TV
Theme written by Dave Grusin...not surprised...love his theme from St.Elsewhere.
Also did music for film 'The Fabulous Baker Boys'.
I never understood why Super Channel never went on Astra.
the change of the logo took place on 1 July 1991
This is my first foreign TV channel. I first saw it in April 1990.
I love it, "look, its snowing" lol!
This is actually Saturday 3rd March 1990. Scooby Doo, where are you?
This was not long before this theme music was retired at the end of 1981. At the beginning of 1982 it was replaced with what was to become the Calendar theme for a good few years.
